e-Books are electronic versions or books which can be downloaded and read on your computer or handheld device. Most of the e-Books listed here are in ASCII-text format and can be read with virtually any text editor. I have converted some of the books to eReader format which is more convienient for reading on hand-held devices. The eReader software is freely available here for most computer and hand-held platforms. The source for most of these is books is Project Gutenberg. But some of the books have other, interesting origins.
