The Portland Recorder Society meets the
third Friday of each month September through May with the exception of March, 2009 when the monthly meeting will be replaced with a special workshop. Check the column to the right for specific dates.

Mark your calendars for the Columbia Gorge Early Music Retreat to be held March 27-30, 2009, at Menucha, just 20 minutes east of Portland.

Please note that parking at the Kennedy School
is very limited. You are encouraged to arrive
early and park in the surrounding neighbrhood.
The area across 33rd Ave. to the west has ample on-
street parking. Carpool or take the bus when possible.
Besides playing there will be snacks and
socializing with other recorder and early
music enthusiasts.
All sizes of recorders are welcome,
as are viola da gambas, and other early
instruments. We play at modern pitch.
Please bring a music stand and
light if you have one.
