Peace River Sams

Information:

Peace River Sams is a Good Sam Chapter and was organized on February 15, 1992 as an official Chapter of the Good Sam Recreational Vehicle Club and has been duly chartered as such by the International Good Sam Recreational Vehicle Club.

The Peace River Sams is a chapter of the Florida State Good Sams. This is a summary of some general information about our chapter as set forth in our by-laws and certain other matters decided by the membership.

We gather each month to enjoy the fellowship of our chapter and any other Good Sammers that wish to join our campout. We have one campout each month of the year, except the months of June, July, and August. The campouts are on the third full weekend of the month. These campouts may be in any RV Park that is located within 150 mile radius of Port Charlotte, Florida.

The Host Wagon master is responsible for arranging for the campground, making arraignments for coffee and breakfast treats, and to establish a program for the weekend. Generally we have a happy hour on Friday and Saturday, coffee and breakfast treats Saturday and Sunday morning, and a potluck dinner Saturday night.

The Peace River Sams is a non-smoking chapter.

Peace River Sams was formed to encourage good fellowship in the local area and to camp together and to have fun.

Also, other Florida Good Sam chapters are always looking for new members, so if you are interested in joining another chapter and don't presently belong to any other Florida Good Sam chapter, you can email me at the address below. I will forward your request to the Assistant State Director of our region.  The Assistant State Director will notify you with the name and person to contact of a chapter that is  looking for new members. To join any Florida Good Sam Chapter you must be a Good Sam member, so if you aren't check out the Good Sam link.
