RESERVE YOUR SPACE! SPACE IS LIMITED!
Complete the Merchant/Vendor Registration Form and mail it with a check
for $10.00 U.S. payable to SCA,Inc - Barony of Northwoods. The address and form
will be sent to you when you contact the Merch-o-crat (catherinediaz@comcast.net).
Payment of this "Booth" fee will reserve your 10' x 10' space
outdoors - if weather/temperature moves us inside space will still be available,
but may be smaller. You must provide your own "shelter" for
outdoors. There are two "Child-Friendly" options available to
waive the "Booth" Fee.
Option 1) The merchant/vendor may provide demonstration of his/her art in
which children and their families may participate. The demo should be
on-going or take place at advertised times at your "booth." It
may be possible to arrange for a separate demo area if such a request is made at
the time you reserve your space.
Option 2) The merchant/vendor will provide Child-Friendly (i.e., price
and purpose) items for sale relating to their art. These items must be of a
period style and be something a child of the SCA period would have possessed,
played with, or made. We recommend these items be priced under $5.00
U.S. ABSOLUTELY NO PLASTIC or ORIENTAL TRADING-TYPE ITEMS!
Space will be reserved on a first-come first-served basis; however,
preference will be given merchants/vendors willing to make this event more
Child-Friendly.
If you are interested in being a merchant/vendor for It Takes My Child to
Raze a Village, we ask that you keep the following two thoughts in
mind.
1 - The event site is a Lutheran
church which has a Child Development Center. It is a BONE DRY, No
Smoking, No Weapons (except Boffer) site. We are guests at this
facility and wish to be welcome for return engagements.
2 - This is a children's event.
Please consider the SCA requirements for adults working with children. See
the Pale or the Middle Kingdom
Minister of Youth web page.
Final approval of merchants/vendors will be made by the Autocrat.
There is no court or council of appeal.
Reminder - you must check in at Troll upon your arrival on site.
Thank you for your interest in our event. If you have any questions or
suggestions, please contact the Autocrat.
