Our Trip to Alaska

June 10, 2001

We woke in our downtown Seattle motel, one block from the Space Needle. After breakfast we went up the Space Needle for a look. We then toured Seattle: the Pike Street Market, the monorail, Queen Anne's Hill and the like. The day was mostly cloudy. It rained a little at times. There was a Mariner's home game, so the city was alive. One unusual feature was the decorated pigs that were everywhere. I guess they were for a fund raiser of sorts. I've included shots of 2.
