Eclipse 2006 Trip

Day 1 - Genoa

We arrived at the ship's pier at 2 PM local time and were processed and on board in an hour. We had a mandatory drill with life vests, meeting at the lifeboats. All 1500 passengers. After dinner and exploring the ship a bit, we went to bed. (We had not slept in approximately 36 hours!) I will post more pictures in the upcoming days. Internet access on the ship does not allow uploads, so I will have to use Internet cafes on shore. The weather is mostly clear and in the 50s in Italy. As we head south, it will get warmer.
