History of the
Chace Homestead

Adamsdale, North Attleboro, Massachusetts

The earliested documented information about the Chace Homestead comes from a Warranty Deed dated September 8, 1856, describing the purchase of land by Barton Chace from Welcome Fuller.

A second Warranty Deed dated May 25, 1865 describes an additional land purchase made by Barton Chace from the widow of Albert C. Jillson.

The next piece of documentation is the Real Estate Appraisal of Barton Chace's land, following his death, in which his Estate is divided between his widow Miriam T. (Rhodes) Chace, and his daughter, Cynthia K. (Chace) Hudson.

The next piece of documentation is the last will and testament of Cynthia K. (Chace) Hudson, in which she gives the state to her husband Joseph B. C. Hudson, and her children, Wendell Chace Hudson, and Bertha Miriam Hudson.
