Teaching Credential, secondary school science, Humboldt State University, 1982

Work experience: outdoor/science school teacher; biological surveys; freelance writer and journalist; author of The Flower Lover, a novel about orchids, rogue industrialists and nuclear weapons.

Currently resides: at home

Personal: married; no children but we do have quite a menagerie of stuffed animals and a lot of tropical fish. Who needs anything else?
