One-At-A-Time
Pet Rescue is no longer accepting pets into our rescue. We bcame
overwhelmed with domestic pet rescues and adoptions have been
incredibly slow. We have made the decision to only work with
feral cats moving forward. We would love to teach you how to care
for your feral cat colony and even help you trap cats for TNR clinics,
however, we will not come out and trap and remove all of the cats on
your property. Thank you for understanding.
***In the past I have worked with dogs, domestic cats, pocket pets, reptiles, and exotics. Due to the fact that all of my rescue efforts come out of my own pocket and I rarely receive donations, I must focus all of my rescue efforts where they are desparately needed...feral cats and kittens.*** This web site will slowly be updated and improved to provide more information about feral cats, TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) and where to find supplies and resources to help you care for your feral colony. Until then, please feel free to contact me with questions. If you do find a friendly stray cat, please list the cat as found at your local shelters, Animal Control, and post flyers in your neighborhood. Someone may be looking for their lost cat!My name is Melanie and I am an individual rescuer located in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. I do not have a shelter. Everything is done out of my home. I have worked with other rescue groups to find animals homes, however, I am not affiliated with these groups. I have not filed a 501(c)(3) for a non-profit status and I am not incorporated. I am just a person trying to make a difference on a small scale. All dogs and cats will
be spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, treated with Frontline Plus, and
dewormed prior to adoption. Cats will be tested for FIV and
FeLV.
Dogs will be tested for heartworms and started on heartworm
prevention. If they have other illnesses or
ailments, they will be treated before the animal will be available for
adoption. All pocket pets and reptiles will be vet checked
and treated for any health problems prior to adoption. Vet
records and Rabies Vaccination Certificates will be available to the
adopter on the day of delivery or pick
up of your new pet. The Veterinary Clinics
I use are: There is a $60.00
adoption fee for dogs and cats. $15.00 for pocket pets.
Adoptions within an hour of Ambridge, PA only. For more information on the adoption procedure, click here. |
All adoptions require a home inspection, 2 personal references and 1 veterinary reference. We reserve the right to refuse adoption applicants based on the results of home inspections and/or reference checks.
