Main areas of interest
I've researched many of my lines back to the 1700's, a few to the 1600's. Most of my ancestors were from the southern counties of England, nearly half of them from Kent. My grandparents' lines are: |

BALDOCK from the Faversham area of
Kent. Here are four generations of daughters, including me aged two.
HOLMES from Dover, with earlier ancestors from Sturry, near Canterbury, and from Romsey and Ringwood in Hampshire, Teffont-Evias in Wiltshire, and Tarrant Hinton in Dorset. LANE from Bath, Somerset, moving to London in the early 1800's. READER from Chacombe, Northants, moving to Kent in the mid 1800's due to army service, and settling in Dover. |
