Character(s): Dynamic Man & Dynamic Boy
Publication: Dynamic Comics No. 19
Publication Date: June 1946
Publisher: Harry A. Chesler, Jr. Publications, Inc.
The character of Dynamic Man has a weird and
varied history.
Dynamic Man started his crimefighting career
as an artificial super man created by a scientist named Dr. Moore. The scientist was killed, however,
just as his creation was reaching completion.
After several adventures, Dynamic Man
adopted the identity of Bert McQuade, a junior high school coach. Bert had a brother named Ricky
who assisted Dynamic Man as Dynamic Boy. To quote from Bill Black's Directory, "It is never
explained how an artificial man could have a brother."
Dynamic Man displayed a number of superhuman
powers. These include flight and superhuman strength. Dynamic Boy had similar powers.
Dynamic Man appeared in
Dynamic Comics 1-24.
