The first of many timid professors turned superhuman crimefighters you will find on this CD-ROM, the American Crusader was in reality Professor Archibald Masters. For the complete origin of this character, please read the story which follows.

The American Crusader was later joined by a young partner named Mickey Martin, who assisted in the hero's continuing battle against Nazis. Prof. Masters' secretary, Jane Peters, also played a part in many of the tales.

The American Crusader appeared in Thrilling Comics 19-35, 37-39 & 41; America's Best Comics 6; and Fighting Yank 18.
