Brad Spencer, Wonderman,
was a futuristic hero who battled a variety of otherworldly foes, including Dr.
Voodoo, Solaris, the Immortal Emperor, and Lilith, Goddess of Evil. He was
accidentally exposed to a "sizzling voltage of a secret current," which gave
him a variety of powers including flight, invulnerability, and super strength.
Spenser was also a scientific genius who developed a number of hi-tech gizmos to help in his
battle against evil.

first appeared in the Complete Book of Comics and Funnies, a one-shot
from 1944. The character also appeared in Mystery Comics 1-4 and Wonder
Comics 9-20.
