We have learned from Dot that Norwegian Forest Cats are apparently migratory. Dot will sleep in one spot for a week or two, then move on to another spot. Here are some the places that she has chosen. Notice that she is not picky about size and whether or not she fits.
Sometimes Dot sits in a chair like a person.
When Dot was more agile she liked to sleep on top of the microwave stand.
Dot on the old VCR.
Dot on a pile of blankets in the Pakistani rocker.
The mail basket is definitely too small.
We can't even pile stuff up without Dot getting on it.

Fred bought Dot her own laundry basket.
Our first two cats also liked the back of the couch.
Dot likes the Pakistani rocker footstool.
Dot is normal enough to like to hide in boxes.
Dot sleeping on the couch with some friends.
Dot claimed Fred's pillow after he napped on the couch.
Dot sleeping on the bookcase headboard.
Dot likes the storage ottoman.
Dot claimed a pillow on the guest bed.
It's a good thing that this is a heavy duty box.
We took the microwave stand apart, and Dot claimed the hutch part on the floor.
Dot claimed a spot in the new storage unit by the front door.
One day Fred went looking for Dot and found her in an old end table stored in the basement.
