New landscaping in back yard

We started landscaping the far back edge of the back yard, just in front of our double row of pine trees and around the shed. We also put 5 viburnum amongst the pines.

Back Yard

The back left corner has a rhododendron and some hollies.

More azaleas, rhododendron, and hollies bridge to the Bradford pears.

Back Yard

Next we put 2 dozen bushes and lots of smaller plants near the left side.

Once the construction was done, we put plants by the chimney and shrubbery beside the deck and basement stairs.

Deck Shrubbery

The nandina and overgrown pyracantha were replaced with dwarf nandina, mums, and daylilies.

Deck Shrubbery

A buffer of river jack (white rock) is between the bushes and underside of the deck.

Deck Shrubbery

The deck is surrounded by Japanese holly which have smooth leaves.
