Riding With Obstacles

One night Fred's lesson on Dixie was riding her through a sort of obstacle course. He hand walked her first to let her check everything out, then they tried again under saddle. Dixie wasn't happy about walking on a couple of things, but eventually they were able to do everything.

Dixie likes to jump, so this was no challenge.

The blue tarp was scary at first, but later it was ok.

Dixie inspected the "bridge" made out of 2x4s.

She happily clomped over it and would almost stop in the middle.

We did not know that Dixie knew how to play tubular bells.

"Big Ears!" "Noodle Noggin!"

Fortunately, Dixie chose not to jump the barrels.

There was a scary piece of plywood.
