Wednesday and I don’t work today. What to do? Well, Mike called me up and asked me to come over and look at his laptop. The laptop was crappin’ out so I was kind of stumped myself. After countless of minutes with tech support and a couple of beers, we figured out it had to do something with the battery. All is well and we’re off to Berkeley with my other buddy, Ryan. We went to the Octopus Garden which has a nice selection of Cichlids. They didn’t have the fish I want, better luck next time I guess. O yeh, have a safe trip, Mike. I hope you have fun and save some Taiwanese chicks for me :P. Also, don’t forget my DC5R push start button. Check out the pics here..

Woke up around 11 and decided to install my sway bar/tie bar and my brother’s Comptech rear sway bar on his car. It’s 22mm thicker from the 19mm stock diameter bar. In case you guys didn’t know, thicker bar equates to quicker steer in, also known as over steer. Front wheel drive cars tend to have under steer, so a thicker bar is a nice upgrade from stock. Installation took about 1hr and during the install, Cuong cleaned his Comptech air filter with the cleaning kit. Hopefully we’ll see a performance gain from that. Here are the pictures of the Comptech Sway Bar installation.Pics here.

Washed my car around 11:00AM and left to San Francisco "Treasure Island" for the RSX meet. Got there around 12:15. Surprise surprise.... Not only were the DC2s there, but other cars such as beamers, Jetta, Nsx, Subaru, and S2ks. This RSX meet was a blast because all kinds of cars showed up which was pretty cool. About 100+ cars were there I would say. There was also food and bbqs there as well. Some guys even brought there rsx RC cars and raced them around the parking lot, which was pretty cool also. One guy brought his Go-Kart and drove it around and one guy played porn on all three lcd screens in his car, which attract many visitors =p. The best thing about this rsx meet is that it is much larger than the previous one. Check out the pics HERE.

Rise and shine! The last side was a breeze. I took it out for a spin and "wow". Much less body roll but still not as nice as the Silver RSX, due to the lack of a rear sway bar. But that should be fixed as soon as I get some more funding. Can you say "sleeper". More mods to come and all are going to be installed by reps. Ok, off to work.

June 25, 2003:

Woke up around 10 0-clock and headed straight to Autozone to rent out some spring compressor and a tie-rod remover. Started installation in the garage around 3:00 PM. Finished 3 sides and one left but that's going to have to wait for tomorrow. Too tired to finish it tonight. It's 2:00 and I'm tired, plus Peter has work tomorrow. So far so good. Everything is good and nothing is broken yet. We saved 160 dollars from having a shop do it and we also got tools from the intalling it on our own as well, so that's a plus. I wish we did this for the Silver RSX but I guess we have to start somewhere. It was a good learning experience and from that we should get the last one done pretty quick tomorrow morning. Can't wait!

DC5, DC2, and DC1 meet.. Peter and his friends meet up in San Ramon and gets ready to head for San Francisco to meet up with other RSX guys. There were a couple of ridiculous looking mods but over all there were some pretty cool ones. Gotta love those white RSXs though, they really look nice with those JDM black outs, of course there were some fake painted one.RSX Meet
