At Shepard Seaside,
you can enjoy the best of both worlds: the charm of an earlier era and the modern comforts
of today. The early-1900s house has been completely restored: the ground floor is
constructed in an open plan, including kitchen, dining room, and living room with picture
windows and doors that open onto a deck and garden with views of the water. (To see
pictures of the rooms, click here.) Also on the first floor is a full bathroom (shower) with a double bedroom. Upstairs are two more bedrooms: a queen with ensuite full bathroom (shower) and a twin, accessible via the queen and especially suitable for kids. The cottage sleeps four adults and one child very comfortably, or two adults and up to four kids. The cottage, which is heated, can be used year-round and includes all the comforts of home:
Linens and towels are provided. For outdoor fun, the cottage offers visitors free use of four bikes, a canoe, barbecue, and deck furniture.
