The Four Goff Brothers of Western Virginia
This book is the story of James Goff, John Turton Goff, Thomas Goff and Salathiel Goff as they conquered the western Virginia frontier in the 1770s. After sojourns into what are now Loudoun Co., VA and Hardy Co., WV, these men raised families in present-day Preston Co. and Tucker Co., WV and Clark Co., KY. Descendants are found across the U.S., particularly in WV, KY, IN, IA, MO, OH, IL, KS, TX, NE, MD and PA.
