Welcome to my Austin-Healey Sprite Pages!

This site was created to share my interest in Austin-Healeys, Sprites.  I will try to share some of my interest in these cars here with pictures and links to other enthusiasts' sites.

I currently own two 1960 Sprites.  I got this Bugeye in summer of 2003.  It's was a white 1960 one-owner car (now two) that needed a lot of work.  I had never restored a car before and decided I needed to do at least one during my life.  There is no better way to learn about your car than doing a restoration!  With a lot of help from Ken Beck, a friend in the Austin-Healey Sports and Touring Club, I pulled it apart, had it blasted then removed the floors.  Ken put in new floors, sills, A pillars (the list goes on and on).  The car is now ready for paint and I will start the reassembly probably in August 2005.

My  Yellow Bugeye is my most recent Sprite.  It's a driver and as you can see in the pictures, it is modified both cosmetically and mechanically.  Last winter I rewired it,  converted to an alternator and installed an interior.  It's my first experience with a 1275 engine and it's great.

To view pictures and links please use the listed navigation bar at left or bottom.

Thanks, Phil
