Our May run will be interesting as we will try to come to the same location as the April run, Logan Square, in front of the the St. Peter & St. Paul Basilica.  It was the first change of venue in over 2 years but the homeless and the team seem to feel that it promotes a better flow of people.  It is actually a circular area under a canopy of trees with concrete benches arranged in that circle.

There is less traffic flow which lowers the risk of anyone being hit by a passing city bus.  The benches also allow us to stand behind them while serving rather than turning back and forth - much like a counter.  See the Previous Runs link for more details on the new area and how we got there.  We hope the weather in May will be even better than April as we usher in a new season.  The Lord works right beneath our noses and we don't even know it.

Scores of tourists descend on Philadelphia every year and the Philadelphia Art Museum is a premier attraction.  But hidden behind the tree lined Benjamin Franklin Parkway is a secret world of the destitute and forgotten.

The Liberty Bell is an historic attraction that identifies Philadelphia as the cradle of liberty.
