Juniata Lumber Company

The Juniata Lumber Company of Midlothian, MD, operated from 1908 to 1913. It used a 25 ton class B Climax engine on 12 miles of track to deliver timber from Garret County to a circular sawmill. The mill, at Midlothian, south of Frostburg, had a capacity of 25,000 feet of sawn lumber per day. The lumber was shipped out on the C&P Railroad.
