Hi Roger,
As you will see by the attached pictures, I did receive my guard and have it installed. I also wanted to leave feedback for you to share with others about Jeannie Pickguards.
What I ordered was kind of a hybrid Jem/Rg mirrored pickguard. The guitar I put it on is an RG 370. It came stock with no guard and all body mounted electronics. I tried chrome rings around the humbuckers and a chrome lipstick pickup in the middle to give it a better appearance and was not happy. After calling 5 or 6 places on the net, and Ibanez directly, I was faced with spending $120.00 for a Gem 7 pickguard and routing out the knob/switch section of the body so I could then mount it correctly to the Jem guard. I saw Roger's website and called asking about what I wanted. I called on a Friday, ordered it to be cut on the next Tuesday, and had it in my hands less than
24 hours after it was cut! That evening it was installed and looks sweet!

I have left your name on a product review with American Musical Supply for that guitar telling others how to get a great playing guitar to look even better. I will be ordering many more from you I am sure. And by the way…the knob template that you had drawn on the guard was correct. I ended up drilling right on your marking.

Hey folks! I just wanted to show you some of your handiwork! I ordered two custom "Design-A-Guards" a few months ago, and I am thrilled with them!!!!!
I have attached a JPG of me with the two finished guitars. The red guitar is a strat-style that I built (I have built 5 electric guitars and a fretless bass, so far). I like cartoons, so I have different characters on different guitars. This guitar is my "Calvin and Hobbes" guitar. The black guitar on the right is a 1989 Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Strat. I went to see Yngwie a couple of months ago, and brought the "Design-A-Guard" for him to sign.
Thanks to you guys, (out of 16 guitars) this is the coolest guitar that I own! Thank you very much. I have already gotten many compliments on the guitars and I always tell them about Jeannie Pickguards.

Just a note to let you know that i got the black pickguard for my epiphone korina-v. My compliments on the quality of your work. I havent got the guitar back togather yet but i want you to know that everyone who has looked at it with the new Jeannie Pickguard on it comments on the dramatic improvement your pickguard makes in the appearance of the guitar.

I recently purchased a couple of pickguards for my Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass, and was extremely happy with the individualized service, as well as the reasonable prices and the fast turnaround. I sent my original pickguard, which I was leery of doing, and had a mirrored guard as well as a "Quicksilver" guard made from the original. Jeannie's called and discussed several other options in response to some questions I Emailed, and went out of their way to assure my satisfaction. This was my first order, but I'll definitely be back! If only other companies could adopt this model of customer service. Thanks!!!

Your pickguard looks and fits beautifully! Man, you guys don't waste any time! 2 days from ordering to installation, WHEW! I couldn't be more pleased.
I took off the control knobs and the tip of the 5-way blade switch, slid the guard in place and screwed it down. It took about 5mins- tops. I will recommend your services to anyone who is looking for a custom pickguard. Oh, by the way, they DO fit the stoptail RG7621 perfectly.

Hi. I'm not sure if I e-mailed you to let you know how happy I am with my new pick guard. I love it. You made a Fender Custom Shop type pickguard for my Tele and it's awesome. I'm going to be sending you my Fender American Classic Series Floyd Rose Strat pickguard in about a week. I was wondering if you could let me know how much a white pearl pickguard would be for this guitar? Like I said, it's a Strat with 1 humbucker and 2 single coils. Please let em know how much it will be.

Very nice job on my Squire Strat red tortoise pickguard. I've had others on the guitar that didn't fit or look right but yours is perfect. Nice color too, unlike the dark, dreary ones you see everywhere. I appreciate your quick turnaround also. It looks absolutely excellent and vintage, even though it's a Squire. It's a great old axe(I've had it 14 years now) and it finally looks like I've always wanted it to and the pickups are positioned correctly. Guess I'll just have to send for a tremelo spring cover too now, so you'll be hearing from me. You're the best, and I'll recommend you to anyone looking for your kind of expertise.

Thank you for the great work on my L-4C pickguard. The materials and workmanship were the best and the turn-around time was the quickest. Gary Brawer said the same thing I did when I first saw the finished product: "That guy is really into pickguards". The only concern I have the that your webpage seems to target rockers and metal thrashers and does not do justice to the broad range of products and materials that you offer. For example, you do vintage repros and, until I recieved my order, I wasn't sure vintage was your thing. IMHO, this is significant because nobody does repro anymore. I would suggest outlines of the pickguard shapes on the price chart and finer resolution on the materials and colors.

Dear Roger aka Jeannie's Custom Guitar....
I recently received the metallic silver under clear engraved custom pickguard you had made for my '66 Guild Starfire and the personalized truss cover for my Guild acoustic ......they are the hottest man!!! The major guitar manufacturers could learn a thing or two from you regarding quality! Last year I purchased a 50th anniversary Fender Stratocaster and the pickguard ,along with the rear body plate, (I couldn't even replace the strings without removing it!) don't even come close to the workmanship and quality I see here. I'll admit it, I was very leery on doing something like this via the internet but your constant line of communication was always open and I never felt once that I had been left out to dry....in fact you gave me better service long distance than I get in a local guitar shop standing at the counter for the last 12 years! Technology is my friend....and I feel like I have a new one in Jeannie's Custom Guitar. Thanks again for your attention to detail and workmanship.

I was very pleased with my experience at Jeannie Pickguards. They were able to make me a pickguard for my seven string guitar, and the price was very reasonable. The service is great as well, and the product I got in the mail was perfect. That about sums up how I feel about Jeannie Pickguards. My family presented me, for my 50th Birthday, with a Fender 50th Anniversary Strat AND Tele!!!!! While they are beautiful guitars, they needed "something" else for that individual look... I contacted Roger of Jeannie Pickguards, we discussed a few options and he quickly sent me a few designs via email to peruse while waiting for a catalog. The catalog arrived within a week by snail mail and decisions had been made very quickly after.
I must point out that I live in Tasmania, Australia.....a looong way from the U.S of A.!!! I've got the gold engraved pickguards on my Tele and Strat and they look superb:-)

Roger: When building a custom guitar or just replacing worn or damaged parts on guitars, I always felt that I was forced to use the instrument vendor(s) or go over the counter while carring around a bag of guitar parts to match to. Vendor experiences have taught me that they don't always know their own instruments! A recent aquaintance steered me to Jeannie PickGuards and I sent off the orginal guard to to help me get that 6o's look I've wanted for this favorite Tele' of mine. This Fender has much work into it and I didn't want to compromise the finishing act.
I had to write you and tell you that the Pearl White guard I received back with my original was exactly what I was looking for!
The fit was exact, it installed with no problems what so ever and the finishing was better than I had hoped for. Right down to the beveled edge and tapered screw downs. Excellence at an affordable price with personal attention; Your services are rare, if you are insane please continue this practice. I was concerned about the mailing and packaging and again you've exceeded the expectation; a truly professional delivery and follow through. I'll be back!

Roger at Jeannie Pickguards: Recently I received my Neil Bryan Custom guitar outfitted with Jeannie's Hand-wound pickups. Roger, I have to tell you that those pick-ups are just smashing! Talk about true vintage tone! My God man, where have these been? Without a lot of detail; In the clean channel for the bridge pick-up these things scream, in the second position you get a real "lankey" tone that makes you think Clapton left a guitar behind. The overall tone, through the clean or with full gain and effects they produce a clarity and warm tone that I *never* had on any prior Strat guitar. They put my Standard Tele' to shame. The wiring and switching (middle reverse) is as quiet as a kitten, and the middle tones make playing solid-rock chords a pleasure - they ring forever! If folk's get a hold of these for their single coils, they are set. Neil's guitar work is terrific, as you know, but I'm glad I chose the Jeannie's. He's planning to use them as stock - If he doesn't, he's insane!

Hello All, I have been a customer of Jeannie Pickguard since early '97. I saw an ad in a guitar magazine and called them up to get a custom pickguard for an Ibanez Universe guitar. Roger and the others at Jeannie Pickguard were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. Without hesitation I sent my 'guard and covers to Jeannie Pickguard for an updated set.
When the order arrived I was pleased at the quality of the pickguard and covers. They were extremely high quality, and the White Pearloid material was actually better than factory original pieces. Needless to say I will use Jeannie Pickguard for all future pickguards and covers. I highly recommend them to others in need of custom or even replacement pickguards, covers, etc.
