I was born in Flushing, NY and grew up in Stony Brook, NY. I later
moved to Ft.
Collins, CO where I received my BS in Psychology
from Colorado State
University. Next came South Florida to attend
grad school, OH to do my internship
at the Cleveland VAMC, and I then
returned to Florida, completed my residency,
and live here to this day.

Work-wise, my main interests include complicated grief, veterans,
PTSD (esp combat related), HIV/AIDS, addictions, & police psychology.

Dave

Dave is originally from Barberton, Ohio and served in the US Army 1983-86.
His
basic was completed at Ft. McClellan, AL where he was in A Co. 11th Bn.
He then
went to OK and was an MP with the Ft. Sill MP Co (LEC/USAFACFS).

He later he worked as a Federal VA Police Officer at the Cleveland VAMC
for eight years (until he moved to FL to be with me). He is currently a
Captain with a security firm and is an Area Supervisor.

He collects knives, Harley Davidson items, Police collectibles,
Police patches and
Monopoly sets.

Will put you through photos of our pets though :)
Gabby
Gabby is our female Noble Macaw born 06/29/01.
Photos are of 12 weeks & about
4 years old.
Her vocabulary includes "hello" "peekaboo"
"momma" and her
favorite
"come
here!"
She is always working hard on saying more & if she
isn't talking she is
screaming . . .
hence her name :)
.
Holly

Holly (AKC Hanukka Holly) is our female black Labrador
born 09/26/00. Photos
are of 13 weeks and almost 6 years old.
She just loves to do tricks of all
kinds!
Monkey

Monkey is our female Senegal parrot born 10/26/98.
Photos are of 13 weeks and
around 6 years old.
She loves to hang upside down, EAT, and just do weird
things!
She talks (her favorite word is hungry) and imitates phones
(many ring
tones) and lots of others sounds perfectly!
She likes to do headstands and
somersaults in her cage.
Tickle Me Elmo

Elmo was our male Hahns Macaw
(05/15/00 - 08/12/01).
He loved to lie on his
back and cuddle with his mom.
He was a pretty good talker, played "got your
nose"
and just loved to giggle (hence his name)
- especially from inside his
happy hut.
He left us way too soon.
Gizmo

Gizmo was my female Bichon Frise (12 years old as of 8/00)
who stayed a puppy at
heart.
She died unexpectedly on November 20, 2000 . . .
the same day and
approximate time my mother died across the country.
She was my best friend and
is missed alot!
Now - wondering who Larry is?

Larry was my pied cockatiel and first bird (11/28/92-11/13/98).
He loved to
sneeze (head bob and all),
whistle revelie and jeopardy (sometimes
combined),
bow and cuddle...he is missed terribly.
This page is dedicated to
his memory.

HELP ME
I am trying to do a military history of family members that served
in the Armed
Forces to pass
on to future generations.
I am looking for people that served with them
or could
give details about duties/events:
My Dad did his basic training at Sampson Air Force Base
Flight 3072, 3663rd Training Squadron (Jan - Feb 1954).
He then trained at Scott AFB and was later stationed in Alaska
(Fairbanks/Nome area)as a radio tech 1955-56 - (believe) with the 1930th
AACS.
If you have any info please email me at
