THE BIRTH OF DANIEL

7 January 1817, 6 A.M., Daniel PITTELKAU was born to Heinrich PITTELKAU and Regina geb. HOLTZ of Otteraue (recorded at the Evangelistic Church, Bromberg).

THE BAPTISM OF DANIEL - 1817

“On the 7. jan at 6 o´clock in the morning a birth, the 12. the same month (ejusd(em) = same month) baptism: Daniel. Parents are the inhabitant Heinrich Pittelkau and his wife Regine, born Holz. Godparents "Einsass" Erdmann Brand, 2.) "Einsass" Michael Pittelkau, 3.) Mrs. Eva Kriewald”.

THE MARRIAGE OF DANIEL AND CHRISTINE WILHELMINE GLASOW (auch Glaser)

No 3, 25.01.1846, the bachelor Daniel Pittelkau from Ottorowo (REM:Otteraue), a legitimate son of the inhabitant of the same place, Heinrich Pittelkau, weds the virgin Christine Wilhelmine Glasow from Cabott, a legitimate daughter of the deceased inhabitant Friedrich Glasow. They were married in the prayer house, both were unmarried, his parents and her mother are alive, he is 28 years old, she is 21 years old, his father gives agreement and she brings a judicial marriage-consent.

Daniel Pittelkau, Grundbesitzer [Landed Proprietor]

At the birth of Eduard we discovered that Daniel had become a Grundbesitzer at Ort Getau. We do not yet know what the extent of his holdings were or what happened to them, if anything.
