Make Your Own Snake Rod Puppet!
- Yarn
- A Pompom
- 2 long lollypop sticks (available at most craft stores)
- 2 googly eyes
- White glue
- Masking tape
- Hot glue
- Small pieces of red felt or ribbon (optional)

Tape or tie the top of the pieces together.

Braid the yarn remembering to tie or tape off the end of your braid when done.

If you don't know how to braid you can ask an adult to show you or you can tie the yarn together at the top, bottom and a few times in between.
5.
Coil a pipe cleaner around the base of your braid to look like rattles.
6. Choose a large pom-pom and eyes and take them to an adult to hot glue. They will assemble the pieces for you (see the illustration). DO NOT TOUCH HOT GLUE!
7.
You can make your snake crawl by moving one rod then the other.
