Trash Can Tale
Trash Can Tale is based on the Aesop's fable "The Lion and the Mouse".
Our story stars a cat and a mouse who live in an apartment. When
Fluff the cat gets stuck in a trash can, her only hope of escaping
the smelly trap is a small mouse named Clementine. Luckily for Fluff,
Clementine knows that even little people can do big things. But will
Clementine want to free the cat who has often tried to eat her. And
how could a little mouse get a much larger cat out of a trash can?

Themes: animals; fables; pets; light and shadow; Little people (and mice) can be big help!
Requirements:
LIGHTING: This shadow puppet show needs a space that can be darkened. The darker the space the more vivid the puppets will be. In a brightly lit room the shadow puppets WILL NOT BE VISABLE. If you are not sure if your room is dark enough please contact me. We also have shows that do not require a black out.
AREA: The room must be reasonably free of clutter as this can become a hazard in a dark room. I need to be able to set up a stage that is 6 feet high, 4 feet wide and 6 feet deep.
POWER: Electrical outlets must be in close proximity to the performance area.
SET UP TIME: 1 hour prior to admitting the audience.
DISMANTLING TIME: 1 hour after the audience has left.
AUDIENCE SIZE: I recommend no more than 120 people at a time but this is flexible. Discounts are available for shows booked for the same day and same location.
