Pizzicato Puppets

The Queen and Claire awaiting hairdos, costume trimmings, and hands for the queen.

Puppet bodies are made out of whatever materials are available. This body, made for another show, was made out of a mouthwash bottle. Most of the bodies from "The Widow's Daughter" are made out of plastic bags and tape.

Puppets are painted in the dark under a black light. Here you can see Prince Conri and Mrs. Daily about half way throught the paint process.

Claire, Mrs. Daily, and Sorcha (pronounced Sir-ooh-ka) the Spinner still need legs, feet, and finishing touches. Claire is also in need of some hair.

An early picture of Mrs. Daily and the Queen. Mrs. Daily no longer wears an apron and the Queen now has a more matronly head dress.
