1.      Short research report on Ship Rock in New Mexico OR Devil's Tower in Wyoming . Include the following : How it formed, what it is, age, size, and a myth or story about it.

2.      Research the Great Barrier Reef - Is it rock? Is it living? How was it formed?

3.       Research and share about the "rock city", Petra , in a five slide PowerPoint presentation.  Include the following: Location, history, rock type, Interesting factoids. 

4.      Write a bio-sketch on Alfred Wagener.

5.      Select one of the following topographic features of Georgia and find out how it was formed. Include a cutaway view to model the layers of formation if appropriate. Write a short description and history.
