LMS GREEN TEAM
This community service club will focus on developing increased awareness about conservation at LMS. Our first efforts will include a collaborative project with FCCLA to improve energy consciousness throughout the school, and an ongoing school wide recycling program.
We are also participating in the Adopt-a-roadway community project.
Serious members ONLY! We have our work cut out for us!

December 18 Saturday, October 10, we will meet at 10:00 for Adopt-a-Roadway Family Day. Members are encouraged to invite their family to help clean up Blue Ridge Drive. We will have a luncheon following our day's work.

WANT TO COMPETE on OUR ECO-TEAM? If you are serious and willing to commit to an academic team for spring competition, come by SL 1 in December for an application from Ms. K.
Commitment requirements: Letter of Recommendation from your science teacher Copy of semester report card with no negative comments, and 80 or higher grades. Attendance at all team meetings. Team Collaboration Skills Willingness to learn required material for the competition Participation on this team qualifies you for lettering in academics - Environmental Science! |
