Retirement has given me more time to try to research things sent to me by my son. It took a while to answer some of these problems. Actually, I am still trying to complete the quiz and convince Keith that I should start out with +15, for a score, and then if I can't answer all of them correctly, I can still beat his score. He really doesn't buy that.

Here are some of my favorite quizzes:

8th-Grade Math
Easy Mistakes Commonly Misspelled Words
Original IQ Test

Retirement also allows me time to watch my favorite "Boys of Summer" team... The Los Angeles Dodgers

As Carol stated (on her homepage), this endeavor has been fun. It has sealed a relationship, that was already pretty sharp, into a sharper one. We are proud of Keith and what he does. We also see travel in our future.

This "internet thingy" is a bit much for me, but I'm SLOWLY learning. As Carol has already stated, I worked in the public education field for almost 40 years. As you can tell from my picture on Carol's family page, those years have coated my scalp a healthy-grey, shade of winter.

Listed below are those public schools where I have either taught, or worked in some form of administration:

RETIREMENT PARTY PENNED

During my years in education, I was able to do some coaching (early on) at the junior high level. While in Deming, I coached 8th grade basketball and fortunately had good students that played hard each year.  In those 12 years of coaching, my teams compiled a record of 78-33 and won three district championships.

I (and Carol) am now volunteering weekly at a local Good Samaritan Center, known locally as "Good Sam's". My 'personal expertise' at maintainingmy own rose garden has allowed for me to now take ownership of an unattended plot at Good Sam's. According to the female population there, the garden has never been so tidy. They are too nice, but I try my best.
