archives 6.18.06 - the show back on june 3 in cleveland was a great time to say the least. we'd like to thank hot ham & cheese, johnny mohawk and the assassins, rebel girl and mugshot for making us feel welcome in c town and turning us on to some awesome new tunes. we'd also like to thank jib machine records for hosting such a great night and hooking us up with the opportunity to play and joe indigent for letting us crash on his living room floor. look for our tune preprogrammed to be released on a jib machine compilation disc this fall. a few pics are now posted from that show on the images page. we'd also like to thank everyone who came out to see us at heather and bobs big ass party last night and an even bigger thanks to heather and bob for having us. we had a fabulous time. to quote mark "what a great way to kick off the summer!" we are now working on completing the recording process on 2 new tunes that should be available for your listening enjoyment very soon and its possible that a few more summer show dates will pop up too. so be sure to check back, we promise it wont be so long till the next update. oh yeah, check out our myspace page. 05.10.06 - if you havent checked out preprogrammed or pump it up get over to our myspace page and take a listen, download and play them continuously. we are also currently working on the recording of 2 more new tunes and will share them as soon as they are done which should be soon. we will be playing the agora ballroom in cleveland saturday june 3 with a slew of cleveland bands including hot ham & cheese, rebel girl, johnny mohawk and the assassins and more. this show is going to be a great time. check back here for more summer dates, new images and other stuff coming soon. 03.22.06 - ok, so we're a little slow on the update but we'd like to thank everyone who made the trip out to catch the shows at the painted lady and smalls. first, a big thanks goes out to scott harrison from battling siki and the mantons for making it a great night at the painted lady, and the same big thanks goes out to hobo fistfight and mean mother for hooking it up at smalls. 4 more examples of the great music coming out of detroit these days. check those guys out. we are finishing up the recording of some more new tunes, look for those to be available real soon. so, check back for those as well as show dates for april, may and maybe even june within the next few weeks. but right now, go over to our myspace page and check out barbed wire your way if you havent already... download it. love it. then go check out scrub radio for the best independent music on the net. 03.04.06 - dont miss the show this next saturday march 11 at the painted lady in hamtramck. we will be playing along with battling siki and the mantons. this should be a great show. we kick off the night, so get there early. here is a map so you can find your way down there. check out our myspace page and listen to the newly completed barbed wire your way if you havent already and then when your finished click over to scrub radio to hear our stuff along with tons and tons of other great independent music. 4 stations of great commercial free streaming music 24 hours a day. check it out. 02.13.06 - we are putting the final touches on the brand new tune entitled barbed wire your way and it will be completed within the week. as soon as its done you can check it out right here or on our myspace page. dont miss it. also, you can now hear our tunes on scrub radio. its an awesome internet radio station on 24 hours a day specializing in independent, unsigned bands and musicians. we are currently being played on the hello cleveland show, the toe tag inc show, the big show, the joe six pack show and the show hosted by scrub himself. this station kicks in the teeth of the repetitive, advertisment filled garbage you hear on commercial radio. if you havent tuned in yet youre missing out. oh, and dont forget the show march 11 at the painted lady. 01.21.05 - thanks to everyone who came out on the 17th and thanks to jason from smoking gun for hooking us up with the show. we have another booked for saturday march 11 at the painted lady in hamtramck with battling siki and the mantons. i know that we've said it before but you really dont want to miss this one. we are currently working on recording some more new tunes so be sure to check back here for more info on that real soon. 01.07.06 - come see us january 17 at the 2500 club in detroit. we will be playing a show with the pink spiders from TN, high school football heroes from NY and another band called the blacklist. doors open at 9. cheap cover and of course they sell beer. here is a map to the show. this one should be piles of fun. also, the images page has been updated with some new things to look at... so go check them out if you want, then go over to our myspace page and listen to tunes, be friends and all the other time wasting things you do there. 12.15.05 - we finally have finished our version on the 1979 joe jackson tune got the time. in fact its what you hear playing right now if your speakers are on. go to our myspace page to download it along with blame it on the tv if you havent already. we are busy hibernating in the multicom digitalmark studio recording 4 more tunes that are all in various stages of completion. look for more info on those right here after the new year. we still have pics to post which will get posted very soon. in the meantime enjoy the new tune. 11.19.05 - changed up the layout a little bit. see, told you we would be getting around to some more updates... look for our version of the old joe jackson tune got the time to be posted within a week. its done and we think its sounding pretty damn good. its our twist on the 1979 classic. a few pics from that halloween party will go up at the same time. and maybe some other stuff.... we'll see. 11.11.05 - ok, we know its been forever since we've updated. we have been working on recording some new songs, the process is moving kinda slow but its moving none the less. look for a new tune to be added for download in the very near future. we played a great halloween party a few weeks back. look for photos on the images page real soon. the webmaster had a major crash and is currently working on getting everything back up to speed. salvaging old files from a dead computer is a pain in the ass. once that is accomplished, you will see a few layout changes, new pics, new music to listen to and a pile of other updates to enjoy. be sure to check back soon. i can assure you it wont be long. 09.04.05 - we would like to thank neighborhood muscle for rocking and inviting us to saginaw last week, we had a great time at the pub. the fallopian dudes blasted through a great set too, so check out both of those bands for sure. this week we begin working on the recording of a pile of new and previously unrecorded songs for your listening enjoyment. dont expect them over night, but look for details on those right here as they are completed. there are some new pics up on the images page and a few new links on the links page too. go there.... take a look, and we will try to update again real soon. no, really. 08.05.05 - ok, the images page was finally updated with some more pics from the belmont back on 07.08... take a look. blame it on your tv has been posted on our myspace page too. go there, download and listen to it everyday. we recently found out that we will be playing up in saginaw on saturday august 27 at the hamilton street pub with saginaws neighborhood muscle and the fallopian dudes from lansing. get in your cars and drive... they sell beer and the show is going to be one you dont want to miss. and for those of you who havent yet, go to the downloads page and get some music. 07.18.05 - thanks to everyone who came out to the belmont on the 8th. we had a great time playing with diegrinder who blew the place up with a huge set. we would also like to thank floyd for coming out and snapping all kinds of great pics. one of them is posted on the images page and you can look for a bunch more to be added real soon. we have finished recording blame it on your tv so check out our page on myspace as we will post it there for you to download or just listen to within the next few days. we are also in the process of booking for the fall. those dates will be posted here if and when they become available. | ||||
