two tables below provide information on the restoration charges for
an RCA record player
and the cost of additional parts if they are needed. The cost or replacing the player cartridge, needle, power cord,
and motor mounts is included in the labor charge. These parts
are changed in all players I restore. Also, certain models have
filter capacitors and an RCA phonograph cord that lets you connect
your player to a stereo amplifier. The cost of replacing
these parts is also included in the labor charge as shown in
the table. The average cost of restoring an RCA
45EY2 player is $170.00. This cost includes rebuilt idler and cycling cam wheels
to ensure the player will operate without mechanical problems for many years
after the restoration.
