Not much to see in Albuquerque, but Santa Fe proved to be nice.

A small park at the center of the Old Town district

The day starts with breakfast at the Waffle House and this unfriendly, indifferent waitress.

Route 66 through the center of Albuquerque

Various images from Santa Fe. There is a surprising amount of traffic (foot and auto) in and around Santa Fe. Street vendors line most streets in the center of the city.

St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral is a beautiful, old church.

Smoochie boochies! Hacky sackers galore at Santa Fe.

A good view of the original cobblestone foundation and abode floor. They are now covered by hardwood.

The Governor's office. Check out the wee chairs. Looks like kindergarten furniture.

The Palace of the Governors, built in 1610, still contains most of its original structural features. It is now home to a museum of the history of New Mexico.

Old stuff

An old school wagon and cart

A chimney carved into the stone walls

Prince of what I'm not sure, but this is the Prince's Room.

This State of New Mexico seal is made of silverware. This artist needs a new hobby.
