Memphis to Knoxville, TN: The Sailing Elvis...
Starting odometer = 7139
Distance = 410 miles

Yesterday, I forgot to announce the impending nuptials between Crackpipe -- purveyor of "the Special" -- and Mark the architect. They have settled in Colorado Springs and are making a nice life for themselves. Kelly works for T. Rowe Price and Mark does architecture type things.
Cutie Tijonne collects tickets at the entrace to Graceland.
Front and rear views of the home of "The King" -- much smaller than I had expected.

The King's living room and music room

Bedroom of The King's parents
The King's dining room including mirror surface table

No flash photography allowed in Graceland... The King came to the kitchen for his 4 am meatloaf and pork chop runs.

The "jungle room"... (I don't know either...)
The basement entertainment center
The bar and pool room

Elvis liked guns for a while

Elvis bought some horses for the birth of his daughter Lisa Marie
The garden is the final resting place for Elvis and his parents

Gold suit from the Ed Sullivan Show, army uniform, and suits from the Vegas days

Gold records and magazine covers
Even for the sixties, The King of Rock and Roll doesn't appear to have been the king of good taste...

The King's cars

The King's little plane

The King's big plane

On the road again... driving past Nashville on the way to Knoxville.
