Welcome to the home page of Motorsports Marketing Inc. We are a road racing team from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. We compete in the Northeast Division of the Sports Car Club of Americas' club racing events. We race in the GT-1 division, which are fiberglass, kevlar, or carbon fiber bodies wrapped around a tube frame chassis. These cars are low to the ground, have V-8 engines pumping out in excess of 650hp, and are some of the fastest cars you'll see up close. They are very close to Trans-Am cars, and many GT-1 cars move on to the Trans-Am series.

 

MMI is made up of four teammates from Cape Cod and Southeastern Massachusetts. The team is centered in Martsons Mills, MA, where the cars are garaged and built. Currently, the team is operating two Grand Prix bodies GT-1 cars. The #73 car, driven by Mike King, is a Dillon chassis with a Five Star body and a 355cid small block Chevy. This car was on the track for one race last year, as it was just finished in time for an event in June. The results of that race can be found in the race reports section.

 

The second car, currently undergoing a complete chassis-up rebuild, is the #79 Grand Prix. This car is a Speedway designed chassis, and will be skinned with a Leighton Reese Grand Prix body. Leighton campaigned a Grand Prix for several years in Trans-Am and did very well. The engine for this car is not complete yet, but will likely be a 331cid Chevy.
