The Nokia 1208 is just a basic phone.
It doesn't have any frills like MP3 music player or a camera, but then
it only costs US $30.
The 1208's call quality is generally very good:
I could hear everyone clearly and they heard me clearly.
Even the speakerphone feature is really quite decent.
The screen is easy to read, numbers are not hard to enter into
the keypad, and the software is reliable.
The menus are well organized and easy to navigate.
One tiny frill that the 1208 phone has is an LED flashlight, useful in a pinch.
Another benefit rarely mentioned in reviews
is that the Nokia 1208 is quite small and will even
fit in your jeans pocket above your wallet.
It is also quite durable, and the battery seems to last forever.
Composing SMS messages is quiet easy due to word completion
and the fact that the keypad is just the right size.
The 1208 appears to no longer be sold at T-Mobile stores in the USA but
it was still sold by Newegg when last I checked.
