Here is the tale of a big city cop who, because he's doing such an excellent job, is transferred to a small village where he won't make his London coworkers look incompetent. Initially he finds nary a thing to do, but after a while a bizarre murder occurs, then another, and another and it is his task to compel the local yokels to take these crimes seriously. It's a ripping satire on cop dramas and small town small mindedness.
