This is a little periodic table that I created for display on the inexpensive
Sciphone i68+
cell phone, which has a 3.2-inch 240x320-pixel
touch screen and yet costs only about US $80 as of mid-2009.
To create this periodic table, I had to write a computer program in C,
which was no problem since C is my "native language".
But I also had to create a tiny 8-point font (using someone else's would
have taken longer) and then add a super-narrow numeric font
in order to cram as many digits for the atomic mass into each element's
square as possible.
The result is a success. It is a tiny periodic table that is readable, just.
Eventually I will obtain a mobile phone that has a higher resolution
display, like the
F003, whose screen is 320x480. At which point,
I will revise the table.
