Real Morality comes from free thinking, not religion and free thinking is Atheist/Humanism. We can teach children that this is the only life they get. That they must accept this only life fact cold turkey. I am sure you can tell them your brain is like a computer. When you die your brain dies like a computer that has been smashed. Your brain rots which is about the same as being smashed. Tell them there is no pie in the sky heaven or torture chamber below and no spook in the sky to help you. To maximize their survival and to have a really wonderful happy life they need to know their on their own. They need to be told in this life they are alone so to speak. It they are happy it is probably because of themselves and if the are unhappy it because of themselves. Don't just assume they know this or would come to this conclusion. Sometimes ideas float around in our minds and then some one puts it to words and it clicks. "Yes, we say to ourselves "What I have been thinking is right". Wow.
