Au Naturel Smirk

Au Naturel Smirk

Chamber:

candelabras mumbled, bestowing passion murmurs; none

Blue circles, clear moon, kings and lil’ men no doubt shamed

jousting the lusts of killing time (the choking kind) - I

know you.

Natural light, midnights quarreling foe, squirrels and tumbling sugar

shall the swing give love here?  Love here…  The cinematic porpoise

lacking stagnant rubbish, trust, loyalty:  love

children of paleface faux real.  Unseen.  Obscene.  Loud.  Placatingly placated.

Puppies breath they do bark.

Trees of spring, young and naïve; no leaf found, seen, whispering, glowering

trumping fences, arsenal of insanity…  Foolish

common, decadent, spoiled like silverspoons caressing chapped

and tender, infantile lips.

I breath truth.  They bark puppies’ breathe

high beyond the shoulder.

Kennels don’t want me, my treachery, my scandal; my joie d’ vivre

rather bones in satan’s grotto turning for unseen messiah, insanely hopeful

gathering no-goods from yesterday’s trash - I

hate you.

Lumps of coal abide, obey, curtsey, bow, follow shrunken heads

limp & impotent:   my chastity glows embers of white smoke

eyes of aqua marines, the clown-clothed paparazzo limbos amongst

heat stacks and crazy trees,

the sweat off my flared nostril a laugh

dripping falsetto song, blasphemy, musket reprise, real common.

I bow slightly afoot the rhythm, my backside a laughing stocked

memory sure, dream, fantasy, common barrels of woe slightly a’ thither.

Smile a’ naturel; natural light sipped on thirstily, swallowed whole -

oysters know me:  mine travesty unshucked and well prepared.

I see darkness smirk.
