Wisdoms
(verse 4)
- “You ever noticed how inhibitions, when one downs a
a couple’a cold ones, are blown in the wind like star-
dust sparklings? They sparkle like hot stars in a cerulean
night then disappear like the cold ones.”
- Quote from an intellectual alcoholic -
- Love: A Spring day with a light southerly breeze
and sun-made ice tea, staring at the baby-
blue of Heaven -- minus the cumulous clouds.
- Jazz is like love, and both are like a fine wine: open for
interpretation by its connoisseur; and when the cork’s
finally popped and the selection made -- what a splendid
treat.
- Rape: A power hungry laborer washing the windows
of someone else’s Cadillac-car, proclaiming the
need to get “paid” - SCANDAL and treachery -
unbeknownst to the previously pristine glass.
- Knowledge is King
Wisdom is Queen
and the Prince is learning
to use both, principally
in charity.
- Why play Poker with a cheat, unless you want to join them
in cheating? -- as to be mutually mad at each other… I’d
rather play Solitaire.
- “Excess in a passion is not self-defeating nor self-indulgence,
but rather,
self-sacrifice.”
So sayeth the generous alcoholic.
