PAWDIN' ME?



Pawdin' me, did I hear you say,
That cats do nothing but sleep all day?
That we walk around with our noses in the air,
And we're jealous and finicky, seeming not to care?

While I know we're not purrfect, neither is a hog,
And we're definitely cleaner than than the average dog,
Just who do you think leaves you presents at the door,
We kill those lil beasties that we know you abhore.

In the evening hours when you're barely awake,
You won't hear us whining for a potty break,
No need for a leash, or a walk when it's bitter,
We're smart enough to use our kitty litter.

And when you're feeling down or alone,
It helps to have one of us in your home,
We'll curl up and cuddle, and purrr on your breast,
Vibrating love to your heart through your chest.
