An Eagle's Tears

That day shall live in all our hearts,
The day our peace was torn apart.
A day of terror and of fear,
The day an eagle shed a tear.

Lives were lost, a nation mourns,
For from our midst, were many torn.
Our hearts cry out for those who died,
On that day the eagle cried.

Our hearts doth burn with anger deep,
And mind and soul forever weep.
At the loss of things that we hold dear,
The day our eagle shed a tear.

The souls of those who died that morn',
Cry out for justice swiftly born.
On the wings of he who shed a tear,
To end the terror and the fear.

As God shall witness here and now,
We make a sacred pact and vow.
To those who practice hate and fear,
No more shall eagles shed a tear.
