On May 10, 1977 FREDA (nee Leitsch) of 4201-D Stanwood Ct., beloved wife of the late Otto Frank Miller and dear mother of Ruth Poloka, Dorothy Kozlowski, William Miller, Elizabeth Leber, James, Edward and Glen Miller, also survived by 21 grandchildren & 18 great grandchildren. MILLER -- At her home, 3155 McClure Ave. Dec. 4, 1948, Gesina, widow of the late Karl Miller and beloved mother [of] Mrs. William Powell, Mrs. Anna Beck, Mrs. Theresa Stauber, Mrs. Bertha Tauchert, Jesse, Henry and Joseph Miller. Grandchild, Ruth Poloka Miller [this should read Miller Poloka]. Age 82 years. Funeral from the new colonia funeral home of William Sirlin, California and Termon Aves., on Wednesday. Blessing at St. Leo 's Church at 11 a.m. Friends invited.
Henry Miller
Henry Miller, 51, died suddenly Saturday in his home, 601 Merchant St., North Side. He had lived in Pittsburgh all his life and had been employed by the Independent Window Cleaners, Inc., for 10 years.
Besides his widow, Mrs. Grace Miller and one son, Robert Miller, Mr. Miller is survived by five sisters, Mrs. William Powell, Mrs. William Beck, Mrs. Theresa Stauber, Mrs. Frank Tauschert and Jessie Miller, [this is incorrect; Jessie was the nickname for his brother, Otto] and one brother, Joseph Miller.
Friends and members of Building Service Employe[e]s, Local No. 16 are being received at the William Sirlin Colonial Mortuary, California and Termon Aves., where services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Interment will be in Uniondale Cemetery.
