- Picante began her career by earning a Junior Hunter title. While completing her championship, Picante placed fourth in the Group and won several Best Opposite Sex.
- Picante completed her Novice obedience title with multiple placements with scores qualifying her for a Dog World Award. She went on to earn her Open obedience title and then took some time out to have two litters of puppies. Picante is the dam of 11 champions with more that are major pointed. In 1997 Picante placed first in Brood Bitch Class at the VCA Nationals with Amigo and Si Si as her get.
Picante
earned her Novice Agility
title and earned her Utility Dog title with two
first places and a third place. Picante easily
earned her Open and Agility Excellent titles. She
completed her Open Jumper title with ease.
Picante earned nine points
toward the OTCh. title. Picante earned her
Senior Hunter title in December 1997, and was
recently presented with a Registry of Merit
award. Picante earned her Tracking title
with Melissa Thomas as her trainer/handler.
Passing the tracking dog title earned Picante her
VCD2 title from AKC.
