- "Chispa" is
Spanish and is literally translated as
"spark". It's commonly used to describe
one who is spirited or a "go-getter".
Chispa not only wears her name well, but she's a
great example of meeting the Poquito kennel
objective of being "versatile". She's
had a very successful show career and, like her
brothers, actively enjoys hunting, agility, and
obedience.
- Chispa selected Suzanne when they walked into the house. All the puppies were sleeping when Suzanne arrived. Chispa was the only puppy to wake up from her sound sleep and go to meet her. It was love at first sight.
- Chispa's housemates include another V, Jasper, and Osita, a Chow-Chow. Some of her favorvite things: hunting birds, playing frisbee, playing with her housemate "Jasper", sleeping in bed with her humans, being a lap dog, running, playing in the bathtub, eating Auntie M's cookies, and "performing"/competing with Jasper in agility and obedience (she mimics whatever I do with him). She also likes curl up on the dog beds with Jasper in front of a warm fire at night.
- She's a regal little bitch and we're so glad she chose us. By climbing into one's lap to cuddle, she can overpower even the most rigid of personalities. It's great to come home to this after a miserable day at work!
