Welcome to my Digital Photograph Section

I have been taking photographs since my high school days and used to enjoy developing and making the prints in my darkroom, but I hated the mess and smell of the chemicals. In 1998, I bought my first digital camera and have been hooked on digital photography ever since.

Most of the pictures here were taken with a Canon Powershot A5 which has a 1.5 megapixel resolution (not bad for Web viewing, but makes lousy prints). A few were taken with a Sony Cybershot 505LV which had a 3.2 megapixel resolution, and some were taken with a Sony Cybershot F707 with a 5.2 megapixel resolution.

My 'processing lab' is an iMac 17" with 768Meg of memory and 160 gig of hard disk space running OS X. I use a combination of ColorIt 4.0.1 and Photoshop 5.5 and Photoshop Elements for editing, and imbed my Digimark ID in all of my photographs (and borders).

Three of my photographs (not shown for legal reasons) were used as the cover art for books published through i-Universe.
