Fairview Cemetery (Mildred, Allen, Kansas) History:
Located 1 1/2 miles east of Mildred, in the Southeast quarter of section
nineteen township twenty three range twenty one, comprised of 5, 100/160 acres.
On April 24th, 1861, Albert G. West and wife, Christiana deeded to Daniel
Langdon, Johnston Mann and John McMullen this acreage to be used for a public
graveyard. Addition--On April 13, 1895, J. H. Ross, President of the Trustees of
Fairview Presbyterian Church of Osage Township, to the trustees of the Fairview
Cemetery one acre of land in the Northeast one-quarter of section thirty
township twenty three south of range twenty one.
