Ron & Cathy's

Breckenridge Vacation Home

Located high in the Colorado mountains, there's a place called Breckenridge. Since the time that Cathy and Ron first met back while college students in this state, they both hoped to finally settle in a place that they could look out and see the Rocky Mountains from their balcony.

......

A few years ago, they took a family vote and it was unanimous. Ron, Cathy, Ellen and Diana all packed up and moved to Denver. That not being quite enough, they soon began thinking about a vacation home closer to the Ski Slopes. They had gone to a town called Breckenridge for a few summers and they all enjoyed the atmosphere (what there is of it at 9,600 feet above sea level) both in summer and winter.

After searching for some time, they found a lot on the outskirts of the town of Breckenridge away from the commotion, but within a beautiful view of the ski slopes. The lot was purchased.

The Taubman crew sat down and thought about what they would want in a vacation home. The answer was everything. Plans were developed (see below) and construction was begun.

The final product is clearly a masterpiece. This house is most probably one of the nicest homes in the Breckenridge Area. After you look and take the virtual tour, I'm sure you'll agree. There are two ways to look around. First, using the plans below, you can click on specific rooms and see photos of those rooms. Second, you can click on pictures below plans and see photos.

Click on Small Plans to see full sized version: From these full sized plans, you can look around the house by clicking on selected areas of the Plan (eg. Click Mouse on Kitchen Area to see pictures of the Kitchen).
